Alaska Online Continuing Education Courses
In order to renew your license, the Alaska
Division of Labor Standards and Safety, Mechanical Inspection
requires that you complete 16 hours of continuing education; 8
hours must be on the current National Electric Code. The renewal
deadline in Alaska is Every 2 years on the anniversary of when
the license was issued.
The Alaska Division of Labor Standards and
Safety, Mechanical Inspection has asked us not to send
certificates of completion to them. When you finish a course,
submit a Notification of Completion and I will mail you by US
Mail a certificate of completion which you can include with your
license renewal form.
If your license is expired and you need to send you certificate
of completion to the State of Alaska immediately, I will fax it
to them. Send a request for this service by email to

Courses can be completed entirely online prior to
payment. All courses except RCW/WAC are reciprocal between Alaska and
Washington because they are the same courses!

Washington Online Continuing Education Courses
In order to renew your license, the Washington Department of
Labor and Industries, Electrical Division requires that you
complete 24 hours of continuing education; 8 hours must be on the
National Electric Code; 4 hours must be on the RCW/WAC. The
renewal deadline in Washington is before the license expiration
date, every three years.
