Brief Description for Changes to the 2014
NEC Course Course Objectives: Learn approximately 200 significant changes to the 2014 National Electrical Code. These changes are the same as in the 2014 NEC Analysis of Changes Book published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the International Association of Electrical Inspectors' (IAEI). Learning outcomes: The learned material is measured through taking tests that require a passing grade of 70 percent or better. After a test is submitted it is graded by the server and the grade is immediately returned to the student. Instructor: Gerald Newton Course prerequisites: This course covers the 2014 National Electrical Code changes. The NEC is not written for untrained persons. This course is for journeyman level electricians, master electricians, electrician supervisors, electrical administrators, and electrical engineers or anyone wishing to learn about the NEC that has the time and willingness to study. Program materials: 20 online tests with 10 questions each. Each question has a graphic to explain the change.
