(These books are not necessary for completing the course material.)
Description:
This course consists
of 107 pages and 40 illustrations to teach the Changes to the 2002 National
Electrical Safety Code. The course material and illustrations were correlated
with the 2002 NESC and the McGraw-Hill Handbook on the 2002 NESC. The course
includes two 75 question tests. The first test is a tutorial self grading
practice test and the other is a server graded recorded test. Taking and
passing the recorded test with a 70 percent score or better is required for
passing the course. This course was created to meet the 8 hours of continuing
education requirement for Alaskan electrical administrators in the Unlimited
Line and Outside Communications categories. Alaska requires eight hours
to maintain certification that are renewed every 2 years. This course is
an excellent training program for journeyman electricians that perform work
on electrical generating systems, street lighting, and substations.
Goals:
Identify changes in
the 2002 National Electrical Safety Code.
