2008 NEC Changes Part 1
 
  Welcome to this Online 8 hour NEC Change Course based on the 2008  NEC.
This course covers the first 200 changes and parallels the material discussed during the first 10 hours of the two day 2008 NEC
 change course conducted by the IAEI in Anchorage, Alaska in September of 2007.  Changes for Chapters 1 through 4 of the
2008 NEC are covered.  There are twenty tests each having ten questions for a total of 200 test questions.  Links are provided
in the left frame for retrieving the test records for passed tests.  This course is designed to provide 8 hours of online approved training
 on the 2008 NEC for continuing education as a required Code Update Class for renewing electrician, electrical administrators,
 and master electrician licenses.

Four new Articles have bee added to the 2008 NEC.  They are Article 355 for Reinforced Thermosetting Resin Conduit (RTRC),
Article 522 for Control Systems for Permanent Amusement Attractions, Article 626 for Electrified Truck Parking Space, and Article 708 for Critical Operations Power Systems.  Annex F and Annex G that
 supplement Article 708 have also been added. 

The navigator frame on the left allows you to navigate through the tests and material.  Also, the special music selector allows users of IE to listen to background midi music.

When using frames and IE 4.0+ simply slide the left hand frame border to the left with your mouse to view the material with a fuller screen. Also, with IE 4.0 use the full screen tool and you will have presentation quality.
